Prioritizing Victim Rescue

On a working fire the Truck Company may be faced with multiple victims hanging in windows awaiting rescue. How do you prioritize who gets the bucket (or ladder) first? What are some of your considerations? Remember the loudest victim may not be the one in greatest distress. When teaching tactics, I always use this video to put it all in perspective. -Jimm-

Training? Are you kidding?? Come on people!! Its a commercial for an ebay-like website. Its called comedy! If we can’t laugh at it, who will? I think we should put the producers in charge of all firehouse shows. THATS real life!!

These 1st 2 guys arent serious are they? Glad to see Bob got it right. Those comments are on the verge of political correctness run amok. If you are hiting FF’s that CAN’T see the difference between reality and this piece of humor your city has big problems. A little bit of humor like this would break the bordom and wake up folks in a dry lecture portion of a FF I/II class. Please take this (and LIFE) as intended, don’t make everything into an issue.
