Charlie Side Problem

Sean Parker submitted these photos of what Leesburg (FL) Engine Company 62 found. These doors were found behind a business while out in their first due. It looks to be a heavy steel door with collar protected dead bolts, set into concrete block wall. What are the possible, if any, forcible entry challenges? What would be your plan of attack?

These are the types of doors that could present problems, especially at 0200, for an inexperienced crew. Remember, training on a commercially made forcible entry prop is a great supplement, but it won’t have the same feel as the doors above. So with that said, don’t forget to take advantage of an acquired building. Force every door you can when you are training in an acquired structure!

Would of liked to seen the door opened. Looking at the jam i would like insight as to how deep the bolt throws into the jam. Also would like to know what the bolts are made of.
With the information given I would attack the concrete blocks surrounding the bolts. That takes the bolts out of the equation.

this maybe a case of reverse conventional forcible entry using irons but on the hinge side. Hard to tell without closer up pictures.Next would be rotary saw to create doggy door on lower quarter

Based on the situation, maybe attack the garage door next to it first? Even if that is reinforced as well, you can get a small hole to see whats going on inside the building or vent smoke. Then take a rotary saw to whichever door seems easier to get through.
